Date: September 13, 2008
Starts: Revere Beach, 7am; Wallis Sands Beach, 11am; York Beach, 1pm
The Rides- a full 100 mile Century (plus a wee bit) from Revere Beach to Old Orchard, a 50 miler from
Wallis Sands Beach and a 35 mile ride from York Beach... all finishing up at Old Orchard together!
Riders need to guarantee at least $250 in donations. Donations must be turned in the
day of, or prior to the start. There is a $35 registration fee.
The Route:
100 mile start: Kelley's Roast Beef, Revere Beach, MA. 7AM. Revere Beach BLVD to RT 129W in Swampscott to Rt 1A North.
Stay on 1A North through Salem, Beverly, Hamilton, Ipswich, Rowley, Newbury
and Newburyport, cross bridge to Salisbury, stay on Rt1A to Salisbury Beach,
through and join 50 mile ride at Wallis Sands Beach.
Through Portsmouth on Rt1A to Rt1, across the Memorial Bridge to Kittery. In Kittery, to Rt103 until it joins Rt 1A in York, at Short Sands Beach join 35 mile ride.
From York, Rt1A to Rt1, and then through Kennebunkport on Route 9 to Biddeford. In Saco, take the Beach Road to Old Orchard Beach.
END at the Pier at Old Orchard!
